Your tuition is provided by 2 tutors - Rita J Hee & TJ Miles - who are professional artists with many years experience, both exhibiting and selling their work on the international art market as well as teaching students of all levels.

Relaxed tuition – we teach in a relaxed way that is perfect for beginners and those more experienced who want to continue to develop their creative skills. The stunning landscapes of these areas of Spain and of course the quality of the light allow for excellent painting opportunities.
You will be able to acquire new skills during your time with us and make new friends, all at your own pace.

Flexibility – depending on what course you wish to take part in, be it a week long course near the beaches of the Costa Blanca or a weekend course based around the stunning cave village of Galera in inland Andalucia. Why not mix and match? Perhaps you prefer a week long stay and a two centre painting experience? We will try our utmost to cater for your every wish. If you want to take a few hours off or just to be more flexible,
if you prefer not to paint all the time - no problem - relax, go for a walk in the natural parks, go off horseriding – enjoy the area while you are here - ideal if you are with a non painting partner.

Natural environment – we are located around areas of natural beauty - the lakes of Torrevieja and La Mata on the Costa Blanca. Experience the pink salt lake of Torrevieja and Blue lake of La Mata, the salt pans, museums, restaurants, bars, chilled night life, overlooking the Mediterranean’s beautiful white sandy beaches. Or alternatively, the caves of Galera, with quaint whitewashed streets and tranquil atmosphere. Go walking in the hills, relax for a drink at one of the local bars, take a massage, swim or simply relax and paint. An enjoyable painting experience at a pace set by you.

Accommodation - When on the Costa Blanca you will stay Either - in three star hotels in the nearby typically Spanish coastal town of Guardamar at the mouth of the Segura river, where it flows into the Mediterranean. 5 minutes drive from La Mata/Torrevieja - yet only 2 minutes walk from the beautiful Costa Blanca beaches! Or in private accommodation in a top class villa - depending on availability. Both only 30 minutes drive from both Alicante and Murcia airports, 10 minutes drive inland from La Mata/Torrevieja.

Alternative painting weekends accommodation - Why not become Fred or Wilma Flintstone for a weekend? We also arrange weekend painting trips if a full week does not suit, or you wish to have more flexibility to travel while on your visit to Spain. Our current and most popular weekend is a three day trip to the stunning cave village of Galera in Andalucia. We stay for two nights in actual caves(don’t worry, all mod cons are provided) provide you with twelve hours of painting tuition, all meals and wine included (only on trips to Galera - otherwise breakfast and lunch only are supplied on the Costa Blanca holidays), and an unforgettable experience to treasure for years to come.
